Kent Asbestos Services Tic. Ltd. Sti. It is a group company established by experienced Asbestos Dismantling Experts of the sector in order to make asbestos inventory throughout Turkey, to dismantle the identified asbestos-containing structures within the framework of national and international standards, to dispose of asbestos and asbestos-contaminated wastes.

As Kent Asbestos, our goal is to protect our country from asbestos and to dispose of existing asbestos materials with zero error and tolerance in our works, by applying legal obligations in all asbestos works to be carried out within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Measures in Work with Asbestos, which entered into force in 2013.

EFFECTS OF ASBESTINE ON HUMAN HEALTH

Asbestos has been widely used for centuries as a magic substance due to its heat resistance and easy processing of its fibers. However, the health problems it caused began to be understood at the beginning of the twentieth century, and the prevalence of use was reduced.

Studies show that the spectrum of diseases caused by asbestos is quite wide, including cancer and non-cancer. A type of lung cancer called mesothelioma, laryngeal cancer, a type of lung disease called asbesosis are among the risks.

According to the World Health Organization data, 125 million people in the world are exposed to asbestos in their workplaces. According to the United Nations records, more than a hundred thousand workers die every year due to diseases caused by asbestos.
